What a Weekend! Forest Comes Alive for the Western Ontario Steam Threshers Festival
What a weekend it was in Forest!
The Western Ontario Steam Threshers Association Tractor Pull Festival once again brought our community together for an incredible celebration of agriculture, machinery, entertainment, and good old-fashioned community spirit.
The event was very well attended, with families, visitors, local businesses, vendors, and tractor enthusiasts coming together to enjoy everything the festival had to offer. From the impressive collection of vintage tractors and antique steam-powered equipment to the interactive displays and family activities, there was something to capture everyone's attention.
And then came Friday night!
The tractor pull delivered a magnificent display of horsepower. The roar of the engines, the smoke, the competition, and—let’s be honest—the noise made for one unforgettable evening. If you love horsepower and a little noise, you definitely would have loved this year's pull!
Supporting Forest Youth Curling
The Forest Curling & Social Club's Youth Curling Program was proud to be part of Friday's festivities, with our youth curling representatives helping at the gates and welcoming visitors to the event.
We're especially excited that a portion of the proceeds from Friday's gate admissions will be donated back to the Forest Youth Curling Program. This generous community support will help us continue providing opportunities for young members of our community to discover, learn, and enjoy the sport of curling.
It's a wonderful example of what can happen when local organizations work together to support our community.
A Huge Thank You!
The Forest Curling & Social Club would like to extend a huge congratulations and thank you to the Western Ontario Steam Threshers Association for putting on such a terrific event.
We'd also like to thank the local businesses, vendors, volunteers, participants, and everyone who came out and supported the festival. Your enthusiasm and support helped make the weekend such a tremendous success.
Events like this remind us of just how special our community is. The Steam Threshers Festival isn't simply a tractor show or a tractor pull—it's a weekend that brings people together, celebrates our agricultural heritage, supports local organizations, and creates memories for families throughout the community.
Congratulations to the Western Ontario Steam Threshers Association on another fantastic festival!
From all of us at the Forest Curling & Social Club, we were proud to be part of it—and we can't wait to do it all again next year! 🚜💨🎉
Until then, keep the engines warm and the ice cold! 🥌
