Forest Curling Club Kicks Off First Social Fundraiser with Huge Success
The first official Forest Curling Club social event is officially in the books—and what a success it was! We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in our breakfast sandwich fundraiser held in downtown Forest.
Thanks to the incredible support from our community, all proceeds from this event will go directly toward our Youth Curling Program. These funds are essential in helping us purchase much-needed equipment such as shoes, brooms, stabilizers, and other resources required to run this valuable program. This event would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our amazing volunteers and conveners.
Youth program conveners Jill Williamson and Katy Thompson would like to recognize and thank Scott McCullough, Randy Cousins, and Dan Fay for their efforts in bringing this event to life. The continued support from our members and volunteers is what makes events like this possible.
Sold Out!
We are thrilled to share that the fundraiser was a massive success, with over 130 breakfast sandwiches and drinks sold throughout the day!
The weather couldn’t have been better, and the positive energy from everyone involved made for a truly memorable experience. Be sure to check out our gallery page for photos capturing all the great moments from this fantastic event! Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce our next major event—our annual Family Day Hamburger and Hot Dog Barbecue, taking place on Friday August 28th.
Mark your calendars and come out to support Youth Curling in Forest! Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event such an incredible success. We can’t wait to see you at the next one!
