Ontario Two Person Stick Provincials
TWO PERSON STICK CURLING
CHAMPIONSHIPS!
20-22nd of February 2026.

Forest Curling to host Provincial Championships
We’re excited to be hosting the 2026 Two-Person Stick (TPS) Provincial Championships at our club, and we’re looking for volunteers to help make this event a success behind the scenes.
Volunteers Needed!
Our Ice Crew Volunteers will play a key role in maintaining championship-quality ice and keeping the event running smoothly. If you enjoy being part of the action, we’d love your support. There are sign up sheets posted at the Curling Club for shifts scheduled over the weekend of the 20-22nd of February 2026.
Ice Crew responsibilities include:
• Breaking in freshly flooded “green ice” and setting up the Ice (Wednesday, Feb 18 – 4 volunteers needed during the day)
• Snow collection from the ice surface and surrounding areas
• Removing hacks during scraping
• Vacuuming end boards
• Changing sticky mats and restocking Kleenex
There is a 60–90 minute window between draws, so tasks move at a steady pace. Volunteers are off duty during gameplay, so you’ll still have time to enjoy the curling. We anticipate 4–5 draws per day, with the final draw schedule confirmed the week of February 22nd 2026.
Your help ensures the ice stays sharp and the championships run smoothly—because as we all know, great curling starts with great ice!
Thank you for supporting this Provincial event and helping us showcase our club and community.
More updates to follow!
Warm regards,
TPS Provincial Championships Committee
