Hot dog... What a SUCCESS

Of course it wouldn’t be a festive atmosphere without the great food that goes along with it.

Funds

Each year at kids fest, Forest Curling Youth program puts on a barbeque to help raise funds in support of the learn to curl program and junior program offered at the Forest Curling Club.  Proceeds from the sale of hamburgers, hotdog and jumbo dogs, as well as donations from this event help offset the cost of equipment, such as curling shoes, sliders and brooms.

Volunteers to the rescue

We must not forget the contributions of our amazing volunteers who came out to help run the barbecue. Without the help and assistance of these great parents, coaches, and volunteers we could not do this.

Also, a special shout out to our friends Chris at Ravell Insurance, as well as Java and Scoops for providing hydro for the team and to Charles Anderson from the Optimist organization, for the use of the BBQ…  THANK YOU!
