Canada Day Breakfast Fundraiser

Hey Everyone

If you were out shopping the bargains during our recent town wide yard sales, you may have seen us in the large tent serving up breakfast sandwiches and beverages to help support our Optimists. Forest Optimists approached both Scotty McCullough (Rockers Room) and Katy Thompson (Forest Youth Curling) for some assistance to make this event happen after the passing of Ken McRae.  

Ken McRae headed many of the community BBQs for the Optimist and was a strong supporter of youth in our community.  He had this event planned but was unable to see it through. We are happy to help make this event happen.  Those that stopped by the tent where able to take advantage of the awesome deal to get a breakfast sandwich, coffee, hot chocolae or fruit drink all for only $5 and show some love and support for this wonderful cause and to honour Ken.
